Our therapeutic sessions aim to develop skills, self-belief and fulfilment and are individualised for every client.
Ongoing Occupational Therapy sessions can support a whole spectrum of goal areas including:
- Therapies to support development in babies and young children
- Learning how to move, play and engage in the world
- Developing independence and self-care skills (think dressing, cooking and personal care)
- Learning tools to better manage anxiety, emotions/regulation and mental health needs
- Developing skills to be able to work, learn and engage in chosen community and social activities
- Learning to make friends and maintain relationships
- Developing healthy sleep habits
- Identifying and understanding emotions and recognising building signs of distress
- Independently using coping strategies and connecting with a wider variety of feel-good regulation strategies
