SUPPORT COORDINATORS

Helen Walker Occupational Therapy is a mobile disability services provider operating in South Brisbane. We provide Allied Health services to children, young people, adults and families with a diverse range of backgrounds, disabilities, trauma experiences and health conditions.

If your client is NDIS plan managed, NDIS self-managed or privately funded, we are here to assist you with your Allied Health therapy goals and needs.

We deliver all of our Therapy services in community locations for support where our client’s need it most. In addition to community sessions, we can also offer Telehealth services if required.

SCOPE OF SERVICES

As part of our services to Occupational Therapists and other health professionals, we also offer consultation to organisations and tailor-made staff training supporting sensory modulation and emotional regulation needs for clients.

Our clinicians deliver services to clients from newborn to approximately 65 years of age across a wide range of disabilities and health conditions. We can assist a variety of individuals including those with:

Early Childhood and developmental conditions including Global Developmental delay
Emotional regulation and sensory processing difficulties
Neurodevelopmental conditions including Autism, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, ADHD
Mental health conditions including Schizophrenia, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder
Neurological conditions including Cerebral Palsy, Functional Neurological Disorder
Intellectual Disability
Vision impairment, Cerebral Vision Impairment (CVI)
Behaviour support needs
Trauma experiences, difficulties with forming and maintaining relationships
Physical disability

Helen Walker Occupational Therapy specialises working with paediatrics, psychosocial disabilities, complex client presentations and support needs. Our highly skilled practitioners have experience working with clients who are involved in multiple systems including Child Safety, Health, Rehabilitation, Education, Adult Guardian, Justice and Forensic services.
