HELEN WALKER

Founder and Principal Occupational Therapist

Helen is an Occupational Therapist who goes the extra mile. She founded her business to be able to deliver highly personable, client centred and exceptional services.

Qualifying in 2008, Helen is a dedicated and thorough Occupational Therapist, with extensive experience from working in specialist areas in health, disability, and child development services.

Helen currently specialises working with:

– Paediatrics from newborn to school transition

– Clients with complex postural support needs

– Teen/adults with emotional/sensory regulation difficulties

Her real passion is working with babies, children, and their families with emotional, trauma and behavioural support needs.

Helen delivers service with a genuine warmth and care for each client, helping them and their support network to feel seen, heard and supported. She is passionate about enabling each client to thrive, feel connected and become their truest self.

Having been a lecturer and fieldwork educator for the University of Queensland, Helen is dedicated to supporting other Occupational Therapists to become the best version of themselves. Helen has provided clinical supervision and mentoring to allied health assistants, Occupational Therapists and other allied health professionals since 2008.

Outside of work Helen can often be found drinking good coffee, hiking out in nature, getting her feet wet and sandy on the beach, or ‘filling her cup’ at yoga and Pilates. She enjoys these even more when experienced with family and good friends.
