SALLY RATHBONE
Senior Occupational Therapist
Sally graduated as an Occupational Therapist in 2003 and has extensive experience working alongside people with mental health and neurological conditions. Her career has seen her working along the whole client journey from admission into hospital, right through to rehabilitation in the community.
Sally values the power of social connection and the importance of being able to express and to regulate emotions.
When she previously worked in Townsville, Sally led a Sensory Modulation Working Group for professionals across a range of rehabilitation services.
Sally currently specialises working with:
– Mental health and neurological conditions
– Clients from age 12 years and beyond into retirement
– Creating sensory toolkits and wellness strategies together with clients
– Providing support and interventions to help individuals live meaningful, healthy and fulfilling lives
When she is not working Sally loves playing with her two young boisterous and independent daughters, reading, being outside in nature, walking the family dog at the beach, swimming, travelling and spending time with family and friends.
